Cookie Policy
A short, specific list of what this website stores on your device — and how to change your mind.
Last updated: March 4, 2026 · Applies to https://sigmadelta.com.br
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. Similar technologies include local storage and pixels. They allow a site to remember choices between page loads and, when you permit it, to measure how the site is used.
2. How this website uses them
This is a brochure website with no login area and no shopping basket, so our use of cookies is limited. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set until you choose "Accept all" or enable a category in the consent banner. If you reject non-essential cookies, no analytics or advertising technology loads at all.
3. Categories we use
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| sd_cookie_consent_v1 | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choice in local storage so the banner is not shown again | 12 months | https://sigmadelta.com.br (first party) |
| Analytics identifiers | Analytics — consent required | Aggregated statistics: pages viewed, approximate region, device type, referring source | Up to 13 months | Analytics provider (third party) |
| Conversion measurement tags | Advertising — consent required | Records that an enquiry followed a search advertisement, so campaign spend can be evaluated | Up to 13 months | Microsoft Advertising / Google Ads (third party) |
| Map tile requests | Functional | The embedded OpenStreetMap frame on the contact page requests map images from OpenStreetMap servers | Session | OpenStreetMap (third party) |
Where a third-party category is listed, the individual identifier names are set by that provider and may change. We keep this table current at each policy review.
4. Managing your choice
You can change your decision at any time by opening cookie settings and saving new preferences. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser, or block them entirely — every major browser offers this in its privacy settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean the consent banner reappears on every visit, which is the only functional consequence on this site.
5. Our record of your consent
When you make a choice we store the categories you allowed and the timestamp, in your browser's local storage. This record stays on your device; it is not sent to us, and it expires after twelve months so you are asked again.
6. Third-party providers
Where consent is given, data collected by analytics and advertising providers is processed under their own privacy notices as well as our contracts with them. We configure such tools to minimise data, and we do not use them to build profiles about identifiable individuals. See section 5 of our Privacy Policy for how advertising measurement works.
7. Updates
This policy is reviewed whenever we add or remove a technology from the site, and at least once a year.
